The Nazi That Wasn't

Nazis, in general were horrible people. People known for their hatred of the Jews and being German. Despite Nazis being horrible people, not all the horrible people can be categorized in this world as Nazis. Furthermore, this distinction is important, and not everyone who is evil can be called a Nazi.

Nazis were founded by Hitler in 1925, they spread terror and killed millions of Jews, minorities, and many other types of people. Their reign of terror has scarred the world. So much so that, often people who see anything that looks like a Nazi, people will immediately count someone as a Nazi.

To further add to this confusion would be Neo Nazis, who are a group of people who follow the Nazis way, but with some added jargon. These people hate the Jews and are racist. These people, for want of better words are the real Nazis of the day.

While they are not really Nazis, as Nazis, where just Germans or people who fought for Hitler, maybe not necessarily always sharing his ideals or committing or the horrible atrocious as many did, but Nazis any way. With Neo Nazis, they are just people who worship Hitler and some of his ideals.

Although seeming, unimportant this distinction, it really is, as not all evil people are Nazis. Furthermore, it is too broad description, and it makes it all to easy to lessen what happened to the Jews and all the other people who died because of the Nazis. Because if the description of a Nazi is someone who is mean or just is racist, then many people are Nazis, and that would be inaccurate, but also making Nazis seem less horrific.

Furthermore, sometimes if you mis-caterogize something, it means that it can be harder to deal with an issue. Take for instance, the so many words we use to describe a disease. If they all had the same word, we wouldn't know how to treat each problem differently. Like trying to deal with cancer in the same way you would deal with a heart attack.

Nazis are evil people and so can others who seem like that. However, if we don’t make the distinction between the two, we will find that people are classified more evil or good than they really are. There are levels of evil in this world, and if we do not categorize them correctly, we may find we may call others who look like them when they are not. So thus, making a world that is more hateful than it should be.

Take A Risk, Hurt Doesn't Last Forever

In life you get hurt. You can get hurt emotionally, physically, and mentally. Life, you could say when you are hurt or feeling pained, is a big ball of pain. However, life is more than the pain, hurt we feel. To live life is to hurt, but it is also, the great chance to have love, joy, success, and many good things that you would never experience without taking the risk.

When you wake up you might get hurt because you remember the past events from the week or day before. So when you wake up, you feel hurt. After hopping out of bed, you could step on something, and get hurt. You could go brush your teeth, there are more things that you could stub your foot, trip, just from walking to the bathroom. You could go eat breakfast and you could cut yourself while buttering toast. You could leave the house, and there are infinite more dangers. Broken hearts, cancer, flu, small to medium children that are rude, and many more things that could spell you being injured.

However, being hurt is not bad, it’s not good, but everything that we do, we always run the risk of getting hurt. Sure, it sucks when we get hurt, but think about all the things we would be missing if we don’t give ourselves the opportunity. Being hurt is normal, and there is nothing wrong, even if it’s just little things that make you upset or get you hurt. It’s normal.

Nevertheless, what you do with that hurt is the million dollar question, if you let that hurt fester, or if you just stuff it down, that is when hurt, just goes septic. Most people, don’t know how to deal with pain, and in turn they can sometimes get more hurt, in their ways of trying to hide, or get rid of it. With hurt, you can sometimes think that by secluding yourself or being less trustful, will make you get less hurt, it won’t, you will still get hurt. Also, you will be losing many opportunities to do things, if you hide away.

The ability to deal with hurt, is the key to greatness, because if you are always hiding away in your hurt, you cannot push yourself to talk to others, to go out, because you are afraid of getting hurt. It’s understandable if you are wary, but don’t let the fear of hurt stop you. We aren’t invincible, sadly, but we can be fast healers, by letting the hurt out, not on others, but sometimes by: telling others, singing it out, screaming it out, punching it out. Whatever way, hurt shouldn’t stay with you, because it breeds like bunnies on a fine summer day.

Life is painful, but do you know what is more painful? Missing out on life, because you were afraid of being hurt. Take a risk, it’s what life is, and if you get hurt, pick yourself, and if you are really hurt, go heal yourself. But whatever happens, don’t let the hurt stay.

The Ability To Watch Rain Drops For Hours

Patience is a virtue that many don’t possess in life. Patience can be a difficult virtue to acquire in this life, especially now that things can be so easily, and speedily brought towards us. In a matter of years, or the slow events of a century, our society has come comfortable with the dizzy velocity that we have with each day, so much so that we are often taken unaware by the slow plod of life at times.

Patience looks like the ability to stand against a storm and keep on moving at the same pace diligently along. Neither going faster or slower, but just moving along. It’s the ability to stand against pressure and hold fast. While that might sound a like a different definition from the common term of patience, it can be best explained like this. When one has the ability to sit still, and just sit there, that is dealing with the pressure of the need to do something, or fidget, that is standing against pressure. This is the reason, when one has patience, they can said to be able to stand against a great force.

Being patience really builds character, especially seen from that perspective that when you are using patience, you are actually standing against great forces and staying firm. It’s almost like how you could say that a rock is patient as water surges around it, trying to make it move, but the rock just patiently just sits there.

Patience is an excellent virtue to have, as it teaches you not to rush things. It teaches you to control yourself when you cannot control things around you. It’s been said that if you can control yourself, you can control others. While a bit of a dark saying, often at times in life, we have no control of the situation, but we can always choose how we react and respond. By being patient, you can access situations better and make better situations.

Patience is a lost art, because we don’t have to control ourselves or wait for things as often. Nevertheless, just because we have moved so far into the future with learning, technology and other such things, we still need the simple, yet powerful virtue. So as you go about life, don’t be afraid to practice patience, and understand that you aren't just being patient, to be a more calmer person. You are actually learning to engage to learn to push back on pressures, making you someone better at handling stressful or consuming tasks.

Not Anyone’s Tool

Love is commonly used, and rarely at times used as love. People have different ideals of love. Fine, everyone has different opinions. However, what is not tolerable is that people are using love. Just using it for their purposes and yet they believe that the love they use will be a pure love. A love that others should respect.

Love is the giving and receiving between two individuals. It need not be sexual, it is just something that happens. However, what love is not, is when people say that they are in love and everyone has to respect that love. The fact that someone needs to tell everyone about their love, would seem that they are doing something else besides love.

People use love to further their goals quite often, whether it be full scale, or between two individuals. People will often lie about their reasons and call it love. However, just because love is a wonderful thing, does not mean that what they speak is right. It would be like saying that the man who lures children with tasty chocolate is right. Chocolate is wonderful, the pedophile not so much.

It’s not love and it’s not pure, if people are using love. Often people will say,”It’s all about love here.” Usually when they say that, they are using the guise of love to further their own political causes. By saying that it’s all about love, they are actually saying that those who don’t agree with them are not loving, therefore evil. However, what they are doing is the opposite of love, they are tricking others into a cause, and shaming those who don’t believe in their cause. That doesn’t seem very loving.

Another example would be the LGBT, for such a “loving” cause, there is a lot of money in it. Who is benefiting from all that merchandise that they sell? It’s quite safe to say, the “fight” for “love” is definitely loved by the companies selling the means for the LGBT’s war.

Too often, people will use love as a guise to disguise their behavior to justify their actions and just say it’s all about love. Such behavior is not only shameful and disgusting, but it is dishonest. Sadly, many seem to fall for such behavior as the truth. Not only is it perverting the meaning of love by lying about what love is, or what they are doing, it is giving people the wrong idea of love.

At the end of the day, love is about giving and receiving of love between people. When it becomes something else, or when people are using that love, it is not love. Love is many things, but it is not someone doing whatever they like and waving a banner to excuse their behavior or promote whatever they like.

The Color Of Passion: Red

Passion can only be described sometimes, as the richest of reds. Passion is a beautiful sight to the eyes, sound to ears, and smell to the nose. When passion is lacking from a place or person, you can physically feel the loss of it. With passion, you can have everything right, you can have, riches, the items, the trappings, but when a place, a business, or person has no passion, there is no life, and where there is no life, there is death.

A life without passion is a very dark world. Even the most dullest of people will always have a passion for something, whether it be the most boring or insignificant thing that existed in this life, passion is something that is rife in life. Where there is life, there is passion, passion is what makes people wake up in life, passion is what makes love. And on a more humorous note, passion can very well make the next generation.

Without passion in someone’s life, there is no purpose, no reason for doing something. Often people have passion, yet they don’t let it drive them, instead, they put their passion on the side. However, passion is what gives them life, yet they don’t grasp at it. Passion is the pinnacle of our lives, in the fact, it is the motivation and reason we do things. Passion is the difference from suffering and sweating to climb up a hill, to a brisk walk to reach something that we desire.

Passion is admirable to have in yourself, because it encourages you and pushes you forward, but it is also highly attractive to others. As human beings we love passion. We love stories where people were passionate. Passionate about their love, passionate about a cause, or even passionate about food. Maybe that is why there are so many food channels. People are passionate.

When we are passionate, we can do anything, look at the American revolution, look at Martin Luther King, look at some of the things people are creating everyday. When there is passion, exciting and amazing things happen. If people are not passionate about what they do to a certain extent, there is no point for them being there. It does two things, it wastes your time and others, that is why, where you are passionate, go. And where are there are others who are passionate with you, anything can happen.

This life that we lead, is about passion, it’s inescapable, and its beautiful. All the great things in life are made because of passion, because someone was driven to to do something, so they bettered themselves, so they spent the time, and went above and beyond to make something amazing. Passion is refreshing and always alluring as it is life, so if you feel like life is not as bright as it use to be, find passion in yourself or others, and then you will find life itself.

Poverty, While Surrounded By Riches

The poverty mentality is an interesting concept that it affects so many, and is so common, that rarely are people aware of it. Its something that all of us susceptible to a certain degree. However, you don’t have to be rich or poor to have it, you just need to have the nagging fear or worry about lack in the back of your mind, whenever you breath, think, or do anything.

When you grow up in a poor home or in a place where you have lack, it can be hard to shake off that feeling of lack. However, poverty doesn’t necessarily beget a poverty mentality. Rather that because of a feeling of lack that was believed or taught, this mentality came about.

With the poverty mentality, it operates in manner such as, money is the fore front of everything. Everything is measured by money in a person’s life, their goals and dreams are wrapped around money. Often the person will be controlled by money or the fear of not having it.

There was a story of a woman who lived through the depression. She had to save and scrap so her family could survive. However, after the depression passed and she was well off, she still believed that she was living in poverty. It was to such an extent this poverty mentality, that a simple donation of five dollars for a party, she panicked and said,”I can’t afford it.”

With a poverty mentality, it affects how you perceive everything, because you believe you will always lack. Always fighting for something, always struggling, never ever getting what you truly desire because at one stage, you were taught you couldn’t get something.

While there is a certain truth to it, the best lies are the half ones. Often, everything you desire or want, you can have if you work smart and hard for it. People can delude themselves in thinking that they are being frugal, grateful, content or whatever mentality, when in actuality, it is a poverty mentality. Money doesn’t solve all things in the world, but neither will poverty.

Believing that you will always lack, won’t just affect your view on money, it will affect your relationships, because you believe you will lack, and that you cannot get what you truly want. Making you someone who feels trapped and unable to get anything. This poverty spirit will follow you all your life, until you make the decision to change, and truly go after the things you want or desire; Not letting fear or poverty stop you.

More Updates!

Dear Reader,

I am back. Over the last few days, it has been rather interesting as I have been dealing with no internet and going away so thus I did not have internet. To make a long story short, I went away to do some work and when I came back home, my internet was down. The irony though is, that when I went away I told you, the reader, that I would have no internet when I went to where I would go. Thus I could not write. However, when I came back, there was also no internet, making me unable to write. Nevertheless, all is fixed. So yeah! I'm back, and I'm here to stay. Keep reading and enjoying this blog.

All the Best,

Jack Snider!
