Not Anyone’s Tool

Love is commonly used, and rarely at times used as love. People have different ideals of love. Fine, everyone has different opinions. However, what is not tolerable is that people are using love. Just using it for their purposes and yet they believe that the love they use will be a pure love. A love that others should respect.

Love is the giving and receiving between two individuals. It need not be sexual, it is just something that happens. However, what love is not, is when people say that they are in love and everyone has to respect that love. The fact that someone needs to tell everyone about their love, would seem that they are doing something else besides love.

People use love to further their goals quite often, whether it be full scale, or between two individuals. People will often lie about their reasons and call it love. However, just because love is a wonderful thing, does not mean that what they speak is right. It would be like saying that the man who lures children with tasty chocolate is right. Chocolate is wonderful, the pedophile not so much.

It’s not love and it’s not pure, if people are using love. Often people will say,”It’s all about love here.” Usually when they say that, they are using the guise of love to further their own political causes. By saying that it’s all about love, they are actually saying that those who don’t agree with them are not loving, therefore evil. However, what they are doing is the opposite of love, they are tricking others into a cause, and shaming those who don’t believe in their cause. That doesn’t seem very loving.

Another example would be the LGBT, for such a “loving” cause, there is a lot of money in it. Who is benefiting from all that merchandise that they sell? It’s quite safe to say, the “fight” for “love” is definitely loved by the companies selling the means for the LGBT’s war.

Too often, people will use love as a guise to disguise their behavior to justify their actions and just say it’s all about love. Such behavior is not only shameful and disgusting, but it is dishonest. Sadly, many seem to fall for such behavior as the truth. Not only is it perverting the meaning of love by lying about what love is, or what they are doing, it is giving people the wrong idea of love.

At the end of the day, love is about giving and receiving of love between people. When it becomes something else, or when people are using that love, it is not love. Love is many things, but it is not someone doing whatever they like and waving a banner to excuse their behavior or promote whatever they like.

The Color Of Passion: Red

Passion can only be described sometimes, as the richest of reds. Passion is a beautiful sight to the eyes, sound to ears, and smell to the nose. When passion is lacking from a place or person, you can physically feel the loss of it. With passion, you can have everything right, you can have, riches, the items, the trappings, but when a place, a business, or person has no passion, there is no life, and where there is no life, there is death.

A life without passion is a very dark world. Even the most dullest of people will always have a passion for something, whether it be the most boring or insignificant thing that existed in this life, passion is something that is rife in life. Where there is life, there is passion, passion is what makes people wake up in life, passion is what makes love. And on a more humorous note, passion can very well make the next generation.

Without passion in someone’s life, there is no purpose, no reason for doing something. Often people have passion, yet they don’t let it drive them, instead, they put their passion on the side. However, passion is what gives them life, yet they don’t grasp at it. Passion is the pinnacle of our lives, in the fact, it is the motivation and reason we do things. Passion is the difference from suffering and sweating to climb up a hill, to a brisk walk to reach something that we desire.

Passion is admirable to have in yourself, because it encourages you and pushes you forward, but it is also highly attractive to others. As human beings we love passion. We love stories where people were passionate. Passionate about their love, passionate about a cause, or even passionate about food. Maybe that is why there are so many food channels. People are passionate.

When we are passionate, we can do anything, look at the American revolution, look at Martin Luther King, look at some of the things people are creating everyday. When there is passion, exciting and amazing things happen. If people are not passionate about what they do to a certain extent, there is no point for them being there. It does two things, it wastes your time and others, that is why, where you are passionate, go. And where are there are others who are passionate with you, anything can happen.

This life that we lead, is about passion, it’s inescapable, and its beautiful. All the great things in life are made because of passion, because someone was driven to to do something, so they bettered themselves, so they spent the time, and went above and beyond to make something amazing. Passion is refreshing and always alluring as it is life, so if you feel like life is not as bright as it use to be, find passion in yourself or others, and then you will find life itself.

Poverty, While Surrounded By Riches

The poverty mentality is an interesting concept that it affects so many, and is so common, that rarely are people aware of it. Its something that all of us susceptible to a certain degree. However, you don’t have to be rich or poor to have it, you just need to have the nagging fear or worry about lack in the back of your mind, whenever you breath, think, or do anything.

When you grow up in a poor home or in a place where you have lack, it can be hard to shake off that feeling of lack. However, poverty doesn’t necessarily beget a poverty mentality. Rather that because of a feeling of lack that was believed or taught, this mentality came about.

With the poverty mentality, it operates in manner such as, money is the fore front of everything. Everything is measured by money in a person’s life, their goals and dreams are wrapped around money. Often the person will be controlled by money or the fear of not having it.

There was a story of a woman who lived through the depression. She had to save and scrap so her family could survive. However, after the depression passed and she was well off, she still believed that she was living in poverty. It was to such an extent this poverty mentality, that a simple donation of five dollars for a party, she panicked and said,”I can’t afford it.”

With a poverty mentality, it affects how you perceive everything, because you believe you will always lack. Always fighting for something, always struggling, never ever getting what you truly desire because at one stage, you were taught you couldn’t get something.

While there is a certain truth to it, the best lies are the half ones. Often, everything you desire or want, you can have if you work smart and hard for it. People can delude themselves in thinking that they are being frugal, grateful, content or whatever mentality, when in actuality, it is a poverty mentality. Money doesn’t solve all things in the world, but neither will poverty.

Believing that you will always lack, won’t just affect your view on money, it will affect your relationships, because you believe you will lack, and that you cannot get what you truly want. Making you someone who feels trapped and unable to get anything. This poverty spirit will follow you all your life, until you make the decision to change, and truly go after the things you want or desire; Not letting fear or poverty stop you.

More Updates!

Dear Reader,

I am back. Over the last few days, it has been rather interesting as I have been dealing with no internet and going away so thus I did not have internet. To make a long story short, I went away to do some work and when I came back home, my internet was down. The irony though is, that when I went away I told you, the reader, that I would have no internet when I went to where I would go. Thus I could not write. However, when I came back, there was also no internet, making me unable to write. Nevertheless, all is fixed. So yeah! I'm back, and I'm here to stay. Keep reading and enjoying this blog.

All the Best,

Jack Snider!

The Words that We Use

Good communication is the ability to relate your thoughts into another’s mind. The message that you give, possesses all the information and feeling that you mean to give. Sounding simple, it is relatively hard to do so. Like how Alan Greenspan once said,”I know you think you understand what you thought I said but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant?” Giving simple instructions or talking, is actually more difficult than thought, which inherently is the problem of communication: Misunderstandings and not fully grasping the situation.

There is an art to good communication. People communicate every minute and every hour, but rarely is the full communication received. Due to there being several ways to communicate, and not all of them verbal. It’s easy to see where things could go desperately wrong, when we even struggle to communicate verbally.

People have written books, seminars, tapes, pod-casts, and various ways to communicate their message. The irony, people still scratch their head after listening, reading, or watching these communications on communication.

Furthermore, even this essay which is about understanding communication may not fully translate into the minds of others, the message that I am trying to bring,

Why there is such a struggle with communication, is because we don’t always realize that others are reading a different messages from our words. And other times, we are just simply unaware of the messages we are sending out. Whether it be our voice, words, or body language.

Adding to that mix, is that we all have a different experiences, and come from different walks of life. Despite that being so, we also often struggle to communicate successfully to our own family members in a deep and meaningful manner. Our own very flesh and blood!

With good communication, it is really a matter of thinking about what you say carefully. Having empathy and understanding how others will receive your message is the first step. Furthermore, being aware of your surroundings, the scene, the music playing in the background, the atmosphere, will really be part of your message when you talk to someone. All these insignificant things count, when you speak, because when you speak to another being, it’s going through a filter. This filter is their heart and their mind, of what they have seen and done.

It’s not necessarily of whether it’s right how others see things, but a matter of, "will they be able to understand?". Good communication doesn’t have to be passages and passages of writings, or long sagas of oral communication. The message, just needs to be able to communicate all that you mean, clearly, efficiently, and quickly.

Good communication can be a lot of work. However, communication is key, as every person you meet, you will communicate, even if they be deaf, blind, dumb, smart, good looking, ugly or anything really; You will need communication. It is so important, and it is worth the effort, if you want to live a happy and long life.

Good communication is simple as it is hard. As you learn and try to realize that communication is more than just opening and shutting your mouth, you will find yourself conversing more easily with others. Once that fundamental understanding is recognized in your life, your communication will vastly improve. Many a time, people don’t actually realize that how they, grunt, shrug, or communicate, is not always the best way to do things. Life is about talking with others, so embracing good communication, is a step to embracing a better life.
